This was my second experience mocking up a design for a financial company through Direction. This client was a tax attorney who wanted to revamp his website. He had brand colors but wasn't particularly fond of them, so I kept his logo and revamped the design of the site. Individuals who turn to tax attorneys are often in a state of frenzy and distress, which was the main pain point that I wanted to address with this design. The landing card with its assuring slogan was meant to instill a sense of comfort, and the bright colors and illustrations serve the same purpose.
